Mary C. Scott-Hattendorf is an associate in the firm's San Diego office. She started as a law clerk with the firm in 2009. She works with the firm's partners and senior associates on a variety of matters, including securities litigations and arbitrations, contractual and business disputes, and labor and employment law matters.
Ms. Scott-Hattendorf graduated California State University, San Marcos magna cum laude, where she majored in Mathematical Sciences. She attended Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego and graduated summa cum laude. Mary was first in her law school class and earned many high-grade awards throughout law school. She was a member of the Law Review and served as a Chief Notes Editor. During law school, Ms. Scott-Hattendorf had the privilege of serving as a Judicial Extern for the San Diego Superior Court. Prior to entering law school, Mary worked as an insurance claims adjuster for five years, handling the resolution of complex property damage and personal injury claims in litigation and arbitration.
Ms. Scott-Hattendorf is active in San Diego's legal community. In April 2011, Ms. Scott-Hattendorf was invited to speak on a panel at the National Conference of Law Reviews held in San Diego, California.
