Chad Engbrecht joined the Firm in 2002 as a law clerk and currently works as
an associate in the Litigation and Arbitration Department in the San Diego, California
office. In addition to being admitted to practice law in California, he is licensed
by the State of California as a Certified Public Accountant. His financial and
accounting background have become very helpful in working on many of the Firm's
securities and financial fraud cases.
Mr. Engbrecht was honored as a San Diego County Volunteer of the Year in 2002
and was awarded the West Outstanding Scholastic Achievement Award for 2002-2003.
During law school, Mr. Engbrecht earned several CALI and Witkin awards ranging
from Constitutional Law and Criminal Procedure to Corporations and Estate and
Gift Taxation.
Mr. Engbrecht is a member of the American Bar Association, the California Bar
Association and the San Diego Bar Association. In 2003, he was admitted to California
State Courts and to the United State District Court for the Southern District
of California.
Education:
J.D.- Thomas Jefferson School of Law, in San Diego, California, 2003, Summa Cum
Laude. Literary Editor and the Technical Editor, Law Review, Competing Member
Mock Trial Team.
B.A.- University of California at Santa Barbara, 1996. Economics with an emphasis
in Accounting.
