Debra Lopez joined the firm in 1993
and works in the Firm's New York office with the Litigation,
Securities, Blue Sky and Corporate Departments. She works closely
with Mr. Jalil and his Spanish speaking clientele from different
parts of South and Central America. She also assists Mr. Heller on
numerous
Blue Sky projects and has knowledge on the procedures and proceedings
of the litigation department.
Background:
Ms. Lopez started her legal career in 1987 at the Bronx District Attorney's
Office where she became a legal assistant to the Bureau Chief of the Felony Unit.
She then became a Legal Assistant at a Real Estate Management office working
with the in-house counsel preparing and filing court documents.
Ms. Lopez was born and raised in New York City. When not at work, she tries to
keep her young son entertained with sports, biking, rollerblading and outdoor
activities. She enjoys music, dancing and staying fit.
