Shustak Frost & Partners HONORS OUR OWN "SUPER LAWYER"

We are pleased to celebrate the selection of our senior partner, Erwin J. Shustak, as one of San Diego's "Super Lawyers" for 2007.
Mr. Shustak's selection as a "Super Lawyer" was highlighted in a special supplement to the Southern California edition of
The New York Times and the San Diego Union Tribune this month as well as the 2007 issue of Southern California "Super Lawyers"
for San Diego.
The award followed a survey of more than 10,000 San Diego lawyers followed by an extensive panel
review. Mr. Shustak previously was selected by the Editors of the San Diego Daily Transcript as
one of the Transcript's "Top Ten Attorneys" in 2005.
Erwin has tried or arbitrated hundreds of disputes throughout the country over his 31 years of
practice in various State and Federal Courts and arbitration forums, including the National
Association of Securities Dealers and the American Arbitration Association. His areas of
specialization include securities and financial fraud; complex business litigation; contracts and unfair
competition.
He has represented public and private companies of all kinds, including financial institutions,
governmental agencies, including the FDIC and the Resolution Trust Corporation, manufacturing firms,
registered persons, hedge funds and registered investment advisors and investors. Mr. Shustak is a
graduate of Rutgers College, New Brunswick, New Jersey, where he received his Phi Beta Kappa
and graduated with Honors and Highest Distinction in the field of Economics. He graduated New
York University School of Law where he was a member of the Law Review, selected on the basis of academic excellence.
Mr. Shustak serves as an arbitrator for the NASD, National Futures Association and the
Arbitration Forum and is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America; the Association
of Business Trial Lawyers of San Diego; the Public Investors Arbitration Bar Association and the
New York, California and San Diego County Bar Associations.
