Practice Areas
- Ms. Moreno joined the Firm in 2002. She works in the New York
office and assists with bookkeeping, administrative and firm
management projects.
Background:
Velkis is a native New Yorker and currently lives in Queens. She began
her
legal
career in 1991 as a paralegal/assistant for the accounting firm Ernst & Young.
In 1993 she moved to Berrien Springs, Michigan to study at Andrews University
where she attained her Bachelors in Business Administration in 1997. After graduation,
she moved to Atlanta, Georgia where she worked as a Corporate Communications
Manager for LHS Group. Ms. Moreno then returned to New York where her hobbies
include interior decorating and traveling.
