Robert J. McCarthy, III (“R.J.”) is an associate based in the firm’s San Diego office. R.J.’s practice includes securities and business arbitrations and litigation. Prior to joining the firm, R.J. successfully represented clients in professional liability, real estate and construction lawsuits.
R.J. received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pittsburgh where he played football and baseball. While at the University of Pittsburgh, R.J. was recognized as a Bell-Atlantic Scholar Athlete, named to the Athletic Director’s Honor List and was a member of the 1995 Big East Championship baseball team. Upon graduation, R.J. enrolled at the University of San Diego where he earned a Juris Doctorate and Masters in Business Administration. In his free time, R.J. enjoys spending time with his family, surfing, snowboarding and basketball.
