Andrew R. Steiger  

Andrew Steiger is an associate attorney in the firm’s San Diego office. His practice focuses on providing strategic and comprehensive counsel to investment advisers, broker-dealers, private funds, and other financial professionals. Mr. Steiger advises clients on all aspects of business entity formation, corporate transactions, regulatory registration, policies and procedures, and compliance matters with DFPI, SEC, FINRA and other financial industry regulators. His experience also extends to providing guidance regarding new business start-ups, crowd-funding regulations, succession planning, solicitation and marketing activities, and financial industry regulatory filings (Forms ADV, CRS, PF, C, and others).

Mr. Steiger received his bachelor’s degree from San Diego State University where he studied Classical Languages and History, Philosophy and Ethics, and Economics. Before attending law school, he held many roles, including Organizational Change Management Consultant, and Human Resources Policy Analyst.

He attended Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego as a President’s Scholar and graduated summa cum laude, earning many “high-grade” awards throughout law school. There, Mr. Steiger provided guidance to his student colleagues through his roles on the executive board of the law school’s student bar association, and become a fellow of the San Diego County Bar Association Diversity Fellowship Program.

When not counseling the firm’s clients, Mr. Steiger devours science fiction, plays PC games, sculpts, and throws clay pottery, and enjoys the company of his two dogs.
